New Delhi, Aug 16: Team Anna released a recorded CD of Anna Hazare where the Gandhian crusader urged the people of the nation to dedicate their eight crucial days for the country. Anna, who has been detained on Tuesday, Aug 16 just ahead of his scheduled fast-unto-death protest, has stated in the CD, "second freedom struggle has begun".

Following Anna's instructions, it seems that the entire nation has been stirred up to initiate the "Jail Bharo Andolan" as people in all metro cities have come on road voicing for Anna and his struggle.

People in Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jamshedpur and many other cities joined rallies at different places supporting Anna Hazare and his struggle against corruption.

However, Anna in his CD reiterated that people should follow peaceful protest. Anna along with his key supporters Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Shanti Bhushan and others were detained at 7:25 am on Tuesday.

Anna informed that during his absence, other members of team Anna will continue the protest against corruption. Lawyer and another member of Anna's team, Prashant Bhushan has earlier informed that Anna will continue his fast if he will be forcefully moved to Maharashtra.

Police issued section 144 at Raj Ghat and JP Park prohibiting gathering of people. Jay Prakash Narain park was the scheduled venue for Anna's fast for a strong Lokpal Bill.

Kiran Bedi, who was released soon after her detention from Raj Ghat, asserted, "This is exactly what happened during emergency." Bedi also claimed, "When our freedom is restricted, it is as good as being arrested."
