Anna Hazare under 7 days judicial custody in Tihar Jail

New Delhi, Aug 16: Gandhian crusador Anna Hazare has been sent to 7 days judicial custody in Tihar jail. Anna's team members have also been sent to Tihar jail. Anna will be kept at jail no. 4.

Manish Sisodia and Navin Jaisingh are the members of team Anna who have been sent to judicial custody. Anna Hazare's aides Darshak, Dada Phatare, Suresh Phatare are also in custody.

Earlier on Tuesday, Aug 16 Hazare was detained from his Delhi residence just ahead of his scheduled fast protest at JP Park. Police then arrested Hazare after accusing him (Anna) of creating nuisance among public as he (Anna) had urged people to start agitation nation-wide.

Anna was first taken to Chhatrasal Stadium jail, where the social crusader had been lodged for hours after his arrest by Delhi Police.
