Google Doodle paints Red Fort to celebrate Independence Day

New Delhi, Aug 15: As the nation celebrates its 64th Independence Day, the internet giant Google featured a new doodle on its India search engine home page.

The Google greeted visitors on Monday, Aug 15 with a new Independence Day doodle which showed India's iconic Red Fort. On clicking on the doodle, Google showed the search result for "independence day India."

Unlike other interactive Google doodles, doodle for Aug 15 was simple without any interactive tricks. As usual, Google also showed its logo name "Google" on Red Fort.

Technology giant Google never misses a chance to feature Doodles on its search engine homepage globally and locally. The interactive and beautifully designed Google Doodles remind us about special days and life of great artists and scientists.
