Why 99 pc Indians yet to get independence? Ramdev answers

During a press meet at his ashram in Haridwar, the yoga guru on Monday, Aug 15 said, "Only one per cent of people of the country capturing the constitutional systems have made the 99 percent population as slave and so the today's Independence is incomplete."
Citing the pending corruption cases and the nation's present scenario, Ramdev demanded to bring a change in the policies generated during British Raj.
Ramdev, who once had become the talk of the town with his fast-unto-death protest over black money issue, also urged, "The fast track courts should complete the trial of the cases related to corruption in 3 to 6 month," and demanded, "give death penalty or life imprisonment to people if they are found guilty."
Showing support for Gandhian crusader Anna Hazare, Ramdev expressed his respect for Hazare though restrained himself from commenting on the fact - whether he will join Hazare's Aug 16 fast in Delhi or he will remain in his ashram in Haridwar.
