Congress hits at Anna, digs out hidden past

New Delhi, Aug 14: Manish Tiwari, Congress spokesperson lashed back Anna Hazare in a press conference held here on Aug 14 (today) calling him corrupt.

Back firing the Gandhian crusader he said that a Supreme Court judge also called Anna's fast illegal, further adding that his fast was not for the Lokpal Bill or against corruption.

"Anna Hazare has violated basic courtesy and has a lot to answer," he said.

He further said that Justice Sawant Commission report on corruption also named Anna Hazare, adding why he did not respond to the charges.

Congress also said that Anna's birthday celebration by his trust was illegal and Anna himself was corrupt.
