Team Anna spares PM, targets lower bureaucracy for aam-admi

New Delhi, Aug 12: It seems that Manmohan Singh can heave a sigh of relief as Swamy Agnivesh informed that Anna Hazare and his team may withdraw their demand to include Prime Minister under the ambit of Lokpal.

Sources also informed that team Anna's prime agenda is to include the lower bureaucracy and they also want Lokayuktas in all states.

However, Anna Hazare has finally been bestowed with the permission to resume his fast at Jai Prakash Narain Park but only for three days, i.e. Aug 16 to Aug 18.

Sources informed that Delhi police will take stern action if Anna and his supporters will continue their fast protest after Aug 18.

Meanwhile, just days ahead of the proposed Aug 16 fast against corruption by Anna Hazare, the United States hoped that the Indian government would exercise restraint in the manner with which it deals with the protest.

Victoria Nuland, the State Department spokesperson, during her daily news conference said, "As you know, we support the right of peaceful, non-violent protest around the world."
