Anna Hazare to fast only for 3 days?

New Delhi, Aug 12: Gandhian Anna Hazare has been permitted to conduct his fast for three days, said sources.

Sources also revealed that necessary action will be taken by the government if required after three days.

Meanwhile, Team Anna has been allotted Jai Prakash Narain Park to conduct their fast near Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium by the police.

“We have got reports that in some places, troublemakers might enter the protest and try to spread violence. We appeal to the people to be aware of such elements," said Arvind Kejriwal.

Anna has also pleaded to the people across the nation to switch off the lights for an hour on August 15 in a gesture to give momentum to their fast.

"On Aug 15, at 7 p.m., Anna will appeal to the nation to join the hunger strike for the sake of the country and appeal to everyone to turn out their lights between 8-9 p.m," said Arvind Kejriwal.

"We appeal that in that one hour of darkness, they should light a 'diya' (an earthen lamp) which will signify a ray of hope to remove illiteracy, hunger and corruption from this country," said Kejriwal.
