Hearing of Katta, son's bail pleas adjourned to Friday

Bangalore,Aug 11: Karnataka High Court today (Aug 11) adjourned hearing of the bail applications of former Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu and his son Jagadish, who are in judicial custody for their alleged involvement in land scams in the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board, to Friday, Aug 11.

When the bail pleas of Naidu and Jagadish, a Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike Corporator, came up for hearing before Justice Arvind Kumar, he sought medical documents in case of Naidu as he had sought bail plea on medical grounds submitting that he had to undergo an angioplasty.

When Naidu's counsel sought time till tomorrow to produce the medical documents, the court decided to take up the hearing bail applications of the duo tomorrow along with that of third accused in the scam, S V Srinivas, Managing Director of a software firm who is also in judicial custody.
