NEDFi holds wall painting event on global warming

Fifteen students from Ramakrishna Public School, Green Mount Public School and Kendriya Vidyalaya-II (Chimpu) are participating in the programme to paint the stadium's wall facing the legislative assembly with paintings related to global warming theme.
Being organised in collaboration with the Arunachal Academy of Fine Arts, the event was inaugurated by sports director D K Dinglow.
The NEDFi celebrates its ''incorporation day'' on August 9 by conducting various social activities under its corporate social responsibility policy, the corporation''s Itanagar branch manager Kabak Tani, who is coordinating this year's event, informed.
"This year we have undertaken this wall painting programme to highlight legal and social awareness along with the concern over global warming," he said.
The NEDFi was formed as a public financial institution. It is involved in catalysing financial investment in industry development, infrastructure, agro-business, micro finance, etc, covering the entire north-eastern region.
