Sex racket busted in Cyberabad

Hyderabad, Aug 7: Cyberabad cops on Saturday, Aug 6 is believed to have busted a prostitution racket that was being operated from A-class star hotels and even private homes in Hyderabad.

Three call girls and two pimps have been arrested. One of the prostitutes hails from Uzbekistan. The cops also have been successful to capture six customers also.

Acting tough on a tip off, raids were conducted at some flats and hotels, where illegal activities were being carried out and more persons could be arrested, they said.

Investigation of the case has revealed startling facts regarding involvement of numerous people in the hi-class racket in Hyderabad and Cyberabad (police limits) with their bases in other metro cities, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dwarka Tirumala Rao said.

The woman from Uzbekistan had landed in India about two years back on a three-month visa. Separate legal action is being initiated against her under Foreigners Act as her visa expired and she has been staying in India illegally, Rao said.
