Arrest warrant against Swami Nithyananda's driver

Bangalore, Aug 6: An arrest warrant has been issued by the Ramnagar Court against Lenin Kurupaan, the man who exposed swami Nityananda's sex scandal.

A complaint was also filed by Tamil actress Ranjitha after an alleged morphed video of her and the swami was released. A warrant was issued against a devotee of Nityananda, Arathi Rao as well who bore witness to the alleged illicit sex case and against the ex-advocate of the Swami who then turned against his own client.

Ranjitha's complaint to the court alleges that Lenin conspired against Nityananda to tarnish his image. He morphed the images of the actress and the Swami in Mar 2010. The video was aired on television channels.

Meanwhile, the case is being handled by the CID. CID officials demanded that the Swami's bail plea be rejected by the court.

The swami had filed a complaint against the media for tarnishing his image and ridiculing his Kundalini Yoga classes.
