Plot to kill Guj CM, Modi? Man held with 31 detonators

Gujarat, Aug 5: A man was held by the Gujarat police with 31 detonators from Nadiad, Kheda District headquarters, Gujarat.

The arrest holds importance as Nadiad is the place where Chief Minister of Gujarat will hoist the flag on Aug 15 at the Independence Day function.

The police and government establishments had already been alerted following an anonymous letter received last week claiming to blow up the Krishna Temple in Dakore on Independence day.

According to the police, they have tightened the security around sensitive areas including Dakore Temple, where large number of pilgrims gather in the month of 'Shravan'.
