CISF constable shoots colleague, self at Delhi metro station

New Delhi, Aug 5: In a bizarre incident, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable in Delhi has allegedly shot at a fellow lady constable and at himself on Aug 5. Both the constables have been declared dead.

The incident occurred at around 7 am on Aug 5 at the the Yamuna Bank Metro Station in Delhi, where both of them were posted.

The deceased constables who have been identified as M Pillai and Lady Constable MVS Teja were rushed to a nearby hospital after being seriously injured. They were then declared dead there.

There has been no confirmation about the reason of the fight, but unconfirmed reports say that it was a case of a relationship gone wrong. Senior CISF officials have reached the spot to investigate the incident.

According to reports, both the constables had joined the CISF in 2009.
