US President Barack Obama turns 50 today

Washington, Aug 4: Its time for celebration at White House. US President Barack Obama who has turned 50 today, Aug 4 would celebrate his birthday at White House.

Senior members of Obama's staff will toast the president in the Blue Room of the White House Thursday afternoon. Obama would celebrate with family and friends, including some coming in from his hometown of Chicago, then cap the festivities with a weekend trip to Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland.

Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at Kapiʻolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii,[5] and is the first President to have been born in Hawaii. Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review.
