I will not be a puppet CM: Sadananda Gowda

Bangalore, Aug 4: Its the time for a new administrations rule in the state of Karnataka - Sadananda Gowda government. Gowda, who will take over the post of K'taka's new CM on Thursday, Aug 4 said that he will not act as a mere puppet and will be the CM for 22 months.

"I will not be a puppet CM. I will be the CM for 22 months", he said. When asked about BSY's role in the illegal mining scam, Gowda replied," I can't comment on illegal mining scam now. I have to study it." So, BSY, who had to leave CM's post for his alleged involvement in Mining scam had chosen Gowda as his favourite nominee. Now, the question and suspicion arise that will Gowda take action against his predecessor BSY or would just make fake public comments to punish the ex-CM.

Talking over the commotion and boycotting of today's swearing-in ceremony, Gowda said,"I have seen more turbulance as State BJP president. This too shall pass."

On other hand, Jagadish Shettar, who lost the contest with Gowda over the coveted Chief Ministership, has denied to turn up for today's swearing-in ceremony. He complained that he was not even invited for the swearing-in ceremony and also rejected the post of Deputy CM that was offered to him.
