Yeddyurappa slapped BJP leader, smashed laptop?

Bangalore, Aug 2: BS Yeddyurappa was forced to resign as the Karnataka Chief Minister over his alleged role in illegal mining in the state. Increasing the jittery for the former CM, reports started circulating that Yeddyurappa had slapped a BJP leader and smashed a laptop while expressing his (BSY's) rage.

According the daily Times of India, on Sunday, Jul 31, when Yeddyurappa was about to table his resignation, BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu faced the wrath from the former CM as he (Naidu) reportedly trying to appease him (BSY).

BJP central observers including Naidu stayed at Hotel Lalit Ashok and reports claimed that the shocking incident took place in a suite of the hotel in Bangalore. The BJP senior leaders Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley visited the Silicon City to elect Yeddyurappa's successor.

Sources also informed that Yeddyurappa slapped a minister for waking him (BSY) up at his residence at Race Course Road. However, the party sources refused to name of the minister in public.

Yeddyurappa has already engaged in a fuss with the central BJP leaders over the selection of the new CM of the state. Now, with the latest revelation, Yeddyurappa and his supporters may confront with more trouble.
