Pathetic History repeats in Parliament: Session adjourned

New Delhi, Aug 1: The first day of the monsoon session of the Parliament on Monday, Aug 1 has been adjourned before it got chance to begin the session properly.

Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the session till Tuesday when the main opposition party - Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demanded the suspension of Question Hour in the Rajya Sabha.

BJP's demand created ruckus in the House leading the Speaker to postpone the session till Tuesday. The opposition parties and the ruling government were being asked by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to allow the Parliament to work decently.

Issues which can be discussed in the Parliament:

The opposition, as the sources informed, will attack Manmohan Singh and Union Home Minister, P Chidambaram as former telecom minister A Raja named both Singh and Chidambaram over the 2G trial.

The Lokpal draft also will be drafted in the current session of the House. Anna Hazare and team has already warned the government to start another round of fast if the government fails to pass the anti-corruption bill.

Mumbai serial blasts is also believed as the other issue which can be taken by the Opposition to hurl fresh attack on the government.

Meanwhile, the UPA government led by Congress will attack BJP over the controversy on BS Yeddyurappa and his alleged role in illegal mining in Karnataka.
