Militant attack caused goods train derailment in Assam?
Nine bogies of the goods train coming from Guwahati was derailed between Kokrajhar and Fakiragram railway stations at 7am in the morning. Police discovered wires and other materials used to sabotage the tracks. No casualties have been reported. All trains going in and out of Assam have been affected.
Police suspect militants hand behind the incident with no group claiming responsibility for the attacks. The attacks come in the wake of a 48-hour train and national highway blockade called by the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Progressive) (NDFB-P).
