K'taka Guv pressurises BJP to elect new CM; BSY defiant

Bangalore, Jul 29: The Karnataka governor has finally held the bat against BS Yeddyurappa and BJP. Amid several confusion and dilemma by both Yeddyurappa and BJP, HR Bharadwaj on Friday, Jul 29 hurled the extreme weapon on the party.

Bharadwaj warned BJP to elect the new chief minister for Karnataka and to pressurise Yeddyurappa to table his resignation. Bharadwaj claimed that if BJP will fail to name the new CM then he will interfere in the whole mattter and will send his report to the president, Pratibha Patil.

BJP senior leaders - Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley conducted a meeting in Bangalore to elect possible successor of Yeddyurappa who claimed to step down on Sunday, Jul 31.

Meanwhile, more supports gathered for the CM as 75 MLAs and 14 MPs from the state on Friday, Jul 29 claimed that they would not allow the CM to table his resignation.
