Next K'taka CM after Yeddyurappa - Jagadish Shettar?

Bangalore, Jul 28: With BS Yeddyurappa's resignation as Karnataka chief minister, question over his successor has been emerged in the floor. Six names have been popped up and they are - Ananth Kumar, DV Sadananda Gowda, Shobha Karandlaje, Suresh Kumar, Jagadish Shettar, K S Eshwarappa.

Who is Jagadish Shettar?

Jagadish Shettar is the minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation in the Government of Karnataka. Once he was the speaker of Karnataka assembly.

BJP senior leaders Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley will reach the Silicon City on Friday, Jul 29 to elect the new CM of the state, media sources informed. However, Yeddyurappa's consent will be the final words for the party as Yeddyurappa put conditions to table his resignation. Media sources claimed that Yeddyurappa named Gowda as his successor.
