Next K'taka CM after Yeddyurappa - Ananth Kumar?

Bangalore, Jul 28: With BS Yeddyurappa's resignation as Karnataka chief minister, question over his successor has been emerged in the floor. Six names have been popped up and they are - Ananth Kumar, DV Sadananda Gowda, Shobha Karandlaje, Suresh Kumar, jagadish shettar, K S Eshwarappa.

Who is Ananth Kumar?

Ananth Kumar is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha. He represents Bangalore South constituency of Karnataka. Having a degree of LLB, Ananth Kumar's name is one of the prominent names which are believed to be the most promising candidates for Karnataka CM.

Initially, Ananth Kumar was very much influenced by the ideology of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).

BJP senior leaders Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley will reach the Silicon City on Friday, Jul 29 to elect the new CM of the state, media sources informed. However, Yeddyurappa's consent will be the final words for the party as Yeddyurappa put conditions to table his resignation.
