BS Yeddyurappa
Bangalore, Jul 27: With barely few hours left for the Karnataka Lokayukta to submit its report on illegal mining scam on Jul 27 (today), Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa was seen distributing ladoos from famous Tirupati to the reporters.

"I woke up in a very good mood," said Yeddurappa.

"I prayed for so many things," he said, "I sat in front of God."

He further said that he had no fear of losing his job because "Lord Balaji and all other gods are with me. I am doing so much good work," he added.

The Lokayukta report which runs into several thousand pages indicts the CM along with his family members of having benefitted illegally by allowing illegal mining.

"I have no hope that the report will be implemented by the government. But I hope the Supreme Court takes cognizance as they are already monitoring illegal mining," said Justice Hegde.

"There are many corrupt ministers in Delhi. The Prime Minister is a noble man but his circle is corrupt. So let him resign first and then let them talk about us," the CM had said defending himself in a press meet held on Tuesday, Jul 26.
