Mumbai-Delhi Emirates flight averts massive tragedy on air

Mumbai, Jul 27: A Delhi-bound EK507 Emirates flight on Wednesday, Jul 27 averted a massive accident on air when it made an emergency landing within few minutes of its take off.

All 200 passengers, who were on board, are safe, informed an official source from Mumbai airport. The flight had taken off from Mumbai at about 3:35 pm on Wednesday.

Sources informed that Mumbai Air Traffic Control issued a full emergency and the Emirates flight returned to the Mumbai airport runway before 4 pm.

Preliminary investigation claimed that one of the engines of the flight faced technical problems and the emergency landing was called to avert accident.
