A Raja fires fresh rounds at Manmohan Singh in court

New Delhi, Jul 26: Troubled and apparently confused former Telecom Minister A Raja has implicated Prime Minister Manmohan Singh once again in his defence argument in the Delhi court on Day 2. In what can be termed as a last-ditch effort to save himself from the murky 2G spectrum scam, he flip-flopped from his earlier claims yet again.

Raja backed his claims stating that the PM was sent the 2G file and if he had any objections, could have referred the matter to the Group of Ministers (GoM).

The letters between A Raja and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh reveals that there was a smooth communication channel between both parties. The letters that were accessed by Times Now claim that the first of the letters written in November showed the PM expressing concern over the various discrepancies in the Telecom sector. Raja is believed to have replied on the very same day rubbishing all false claims and that transparency will be maintained and there will be no deviation in procedure.
