Oslo bombing video scam hits Facebook, affects 1/second

, a bogus message that promised the video of the incident has been spreading on world's largest social networking website Facebook and it affected nearly one user per second.

Many of the Facebook users have reported that the message which reads, "OSLO Security Camera Captures Blast!" is costing them money. Those who have clicked the link inside the message told that they are losing money from their mobile accounts.

This spammer message offers a video from an Oslo security camera showing the detonation of a car bomb near a Norwegian government building, but the link inside the message redirects users to another website with a fake YouTube video player that mimics Facebook.

According to internet security firm Sophos, the external site asks user to agree to take survey to prove you are 18 years of age and click "Jaa".

Later users are presented with an IQ test. Upon completion they are asked to enter their mobile phone number and will be charged two dollars per trivia question SMS'd to them four times per week.

The technology blog Mashable urged users not to click on the message and delete it from Facebook feeds as soon as possible. Users can report about this message to Facebook security.
