Rain hits normal life in Indore

Indore, July 23: Incessant rains since midnight have hit the normal life in Indore. A house collpased and two trees were uprooted in Krishnapuri area. Two families were shifted to safer places early this morning, police said. No casualties were reported.

Heavy rain and strong wind upset the stage arrangements at Bhabra, the birth-place of freedom-fighter Chandrashekar Azad, where the BJP top brass was to gather this morning for the launch of a Radio station for tribals.

But nobody was injured. The rain is expected to continue in the Malwa region for another two days, met office said.
