Bangalore: Woman raped at knifepoint by burglars

Bangalore, Jul 23: A woman was raped at knife-point by three burglars after they entered her house for robbery in Bangalore.

The 33-year-old women works as an HR manger in a software company. The thugs entered her house in the morning at 2.30 am on Friday, Jul 22 in HAL II Stage, where the unmarried woman stays alone.

In her complaint to the police, the woman said that she woke up the morning and found some youth aged between 25-30 years-old in her room. After asking them what they were doing at her house, the accused told her to strip and raped her at knife point. They then ran away with her cash and gold ring.

The victim rushed to the police in Jeevan Bhima Nagar in morning and filed a complaint against the burglars. The victim was sent for a medical examination and the results are awaited.

Dog squad and experts from fingerprint bureau were then sent to the victim's house. The police are now on a look out to nab the culprits.
