Pak official secretly visits Kerala Padmanabhaswamy temple

According to media reports, an officer from Pakistan's High Commissioner's office in New Delhi along with his wife visited the temple on Jul 21. With the help of a friend, the couple reached Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, Jul 19, but they went to visit the famous Kanyakumari beaches. Later they returned to Thiruvananthapuram and stayed in a hotel.
The report added that Pak official Aabid Sayied and his wife secretly visited the temple on Thursday early morning.
Anyhow, Kerala police and Home ministry officials were unaware about the visit of Pakistan official at Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple, which had hit headlines in global media after the treasure hunt.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on July 21 decided to appoint a five-member committee to analyse the worth of the massive treasure trove that has emerged from the temple cellars. The apex court also appointed CV Anandabose as the Chairman of the committee.
