BJP to fill political vacuum in Orissa: Naidu

The popularity graph of the BJD was sinking as new scams were emerging at regular intervals involving its leaders, while Congress had become unpopular, Naidu told the concluding day's session of the two-day state party executive meeting.
"The BJP therefore is now emerging as the only alternative to fill the political vacuum in Orissa," he said.
"It will be a challenge for the party to fill the vacuum and fulfill the aspirations of the people," he said.
Targetting the UPA government, Naidu said "corruption and price rise are the main issues confronting the people and the Congress is at the root of these troubles."
