BJP must drop Karnataka CM: HD Kumaraswamy

The reports indicted Kumaraswamy's name for giving mining licences, in violation of the law, to Jantkal mining company and Sai Venkateshwara Minerals. Kumaraswamy also claimed that he is ready to face any probe over the mining issue.
Jantakal was allowed to illegally transport ore in Chitrdurga. The company owner Vinod Goel had created fake environment clearance documents. Under pressure, Kumaraswamy had allowed the company to carry on its illegal business.
Lokayukta Chief Santosh Hegde said that a mining company donated Rs 10 crore to Yeddyurappa's family owned trust. Hegde will submit the report of illegal mining to the chief secretary tomorrow. The BJP said that there was nothing new in the lokayukta's report.
