Earlier, we reported that Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has more followers in Google+. The alleged Zuckerberg account has more than 110,820 followers, which is almost double the number of followers for Larry Page, Google co-founder and CEO.

Page, who recently announced 'shocking' details about Google Plus' growth, ranked second in the top followers list with 61,678 followers and other co-founder Sergey Brin is in third position with 47,033 followers. Blogger and technology writer Robert Scoble is in fourth spot with 32,473 followers.

While coming to women's list, celebrity writers and technology editors won the top spots. The American actress Kathryn Felicia Day bagged the top spot with 20,742 followers.

  • Felicia Day - 20,742: an American actress, known for her work as "Vi" on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
  • Gina Trapani - 19,565: American tech blogger, web developer, writer and founder of the Lifehacker blog.
  • Marissa Mayer - 12,240: Vice President of Location and Local Services[3] at the search engine company Google.
  • Sarah Lane - 11,395: American television and Internet personality famous for her her appearances on TechTV's The Screen Savers, G4's Attack of the Show!
  • Veronica Belmont - 9,760: the co-host of the Revision3 show Tekzilla alongside Patrick Norton, and host of the monthly PlayStation 3-based video on demand program Qore.
  • Kelly Ellis - 9,736: Engineer, Software Engineer San Francisco, CA
