IIT-Kharagpur student goes missing in Ranchi

Ranchi, July 18: A student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, Mikhail Muduli, has gone missing in Ranchi for two days, the police said today.

"We have got the complaint by Muduli�s father this afternoon that his son went missing. A missing report will be soon filed in this connection," a police officer with the Lalpur police station said here.

In the complaint Mikhail''s father Dr Iswar Chandra Muduli said his son came to his friend�s house in Ranchi on July 15, stayed there for two days before telling them that he would go to a religious place next but remained untraced till date, the police said.

Contacted Dr Muduli told the media his son is in the final year of B. Tech at the IIT, Kharagpur and came to his friend�s house here for some work.

Dr Muduli is an Associate Professor (Surgery) with the Venkatgiri Medical College in Orissa�s Berhampur district and currently put up at a hotel here.
