Harbhajan Singh sends legal notice to Vijay Mallya's UB grp

New Delhi, Jul 18: A notice has been sent to Vijay Mallya's UB group by Indian Spinner Harbhajan Singh over a television advertisement that features him and Indian team Captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The legal notice was sent by Avtar Kaur, Harbhajan Singh's mother who said that these kind of advertisements caused clash and dissension in the team.

Harbhajan claimed that the advertisement was a mockery of him, his family and the whole Sikh Community and sought an apology from the UB group demanding that the advertisement be called off air soon.

An unconditional apology and Rs 1,00,000 as compensation to Bhajji's family have also been demanded by his lawyers.

Dhoni in a McDowell No 1 Platinum advertisement makes fun of Harbhajan who had featured in an advertisement for Royal Stag. Interestingly both Royal Stag and McDowell's No 1 are competing brands in the market.
