Mum blast 2011: IB interrogates ex-SIMI cadres

Mumbai, Jul 16: The IB interrogated ex-SIMI cadres in Bhopal today (Jul 16), said sources.

The Maharashtra ATS will also go to Bhopal today. The ATS has spread across 9 cities to carry out its probe.

Meanwhile a list of passengers chart will be provided by the Kolkata police to the Mumbai ATS. The Mumbai ATS suspects the hand of an India Mujahideen extremist in the terror blasts.

The ATS became dubious after the key suspect went missing after the blast.

The Mumbai ATS reached grilled Danish Riyaz, the main accused in Ahmadabad attacks in 2008.

The police have also successfully tracked the owner of the scooter in which the suspects hid the bomb at Opera House. The owner named Bhagchand Das Jain is a Byculla resident in Mumbai.

The scooter was registered in Mumbai. "This investigation is on. We have identified the scooter in which one of the bombs was planted," Union home secretary R K Singh said.
