Congress mocks at BJP for meeting CBI chief

"I am happy that BJP and its leaders have once again started believing in the CBI. They used to blame CBI day in and day out," party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed said.
He was talking to reporters after a BJP delegation, in an unusual move, met CBI Director A P Singh to demand a probe into alleged role of Home Minister P Chidambaram in the 2G scam, when he was the Finance Minister.
Ahmed asked the BJP not to play politics in the matter, given the fact that the Supreme Court is monitoring the investigations in the spectrum allocation scam. He also brushed aside BJP's demand for Chidambaram's resignation in the wake of the Mumbai blasts.
