Lucknow CMO-Sachan murder accused arrested, Maya exposed?
Shukla, who is also an accused in the murder case of deputy CMO, Dr Yogendra Singh Sachan, has been arrested over mishandling the funds of National Rural Health Mission.
However, Shukla has so far denied any connection with Sachan's murder as he had claimed earlier that he (Shukla) was clueless about why his name was listed in the FIR of the murder case.
Sachan was found dead in the unused toilet of the hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
The postmortem report revealed six injury marks on the body of Sachan including on neck, elbow, thigh and wrist. He was arrested on charges of murdering BP Singh, a CMO on Jun 17. BP Singh was murdered on Apr 2, 2011 over charging the irregularities in purchasing drugs and equipments under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
