2006 train blast victims narrate woes to Maha Governor

The delegation led by BJP MP Kirit Somaiya complained to the Governor about the slow pace of judicial proceedings of the July 11, 2006 terror attacks, a Raj Bhavan release said.
The delegation requested that a fast track/special court be set-up to expedite judicial process and added that hearing of the case is yet to take off in the Sessions Court here. Besides, 13 of the absconding terrorists are still in Pakistan, the delegation said.
Somaiya said that the government should come up with a permanent policy for rehabilitation and resettlement of the victims of terrorism, the release said.
The Governor gave a patient hearing to each one of the victims and assured the delegation that he will take up the matter with the Maharashtra Chief Minister.
