Japan
Japan, Jul 10: A massive earthquake has struck eastern Japan measuring 7.3 in the richter scale. A tsunami alert has been issued in Northeast Japan following this. According to reports in local media channels in Japan, no casualties or damages have been reported so far.

The damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant was evacuated after the tsunami alert was issued. Japan's meteorological agency issued an alert for a tsunami of 50 cm.
