Rahul's miracle:Electricity in rural UP;Cong's gain or loss?

Rahul Gandhi, who is expected to attend the Mahapanchayat in Aligarh on Saturday, Jul 9 after the padayatra (foot march), succeeded to bring light for the poor villagers who have been left unnoticed so far.
The young face of the Congress, Rahul has visited 26 villages and covered 75 kilometers along the Yamuna expressway during his padayatra. However, one question still remains - will all these efforts by the young Gandhi create a profound impact on the aam admi in Uttar Pradesh? Will Congress be successful to gain over Mayawati's loss?
During his foot-march, criticising the state government, Rahul said, "I have learnt a lot after talking to you (farmers). I am young and from you I have gained a world of knowledge on land acquisition issues...I can never forget all this all my lifetime and the fact that I am taking back so much from you (farmers)."
However, hurling its attack on the Congress leader, Mayawati's BSP earlier had slammed Rahul's padayatra and claimed, "Though Congress yuvraj had a night halt at the house of one person belonging to ''kanjar'' caste in Marodgarhi village of Aligarh but he did not have food prepared there and it was ordered from outside for him while for his staff it was arranged at the house of the gram pradhan."
