Cong 'desperate' to continue alliance with DMK, says JD(U)
"With prospects of getting support of BSP and Samajwadi Party getting bleak, Congress has no other option except to continue its alliance with DMK and to retain the party in its fold," JD(U) national General Secretary Arunkumar Srivatsava told reporters here.
He opined that RJD leader Laloo Prasad Yadav may support the government and could be trying for a cabinet berth.
Earlier, speaking after attending a party's workers and executive members meet, he claimed JD(U) had grown well in Tamil Nadu, but that people were "unfortunately" choosing between DMK and AIADMK in the polls.
