Andhra life paralysed on the second day of bandh

Schools, colleges, shops, petrol pumps and other commercial establishments remained closed. Public transport services are badly hit in all the Telangana districts, including Hyderabad. Entrance exams in Osmania University have been postponed.
The government offices are functioning with only few staffs reporting for duty as the employees and other sections are also part of the JAC.
The violence and agitation that prevailed in Osmania University on Tuesday, Jul 5 wouldn't see an end today as the students after a huge clash with the cops yesterday are today planning to organise another rally.
TRS workers and other bandh-supporters held rallies, sit-ins and resorted to other forms of protests to make the shutdown a success.
As more MLAs, MPs and MLCs from Telangana region quit their posts, the heavy pressure on the Centre continues to mount to take an early decision on the sentiments for a separate state.
