Lokpal draft: Anna Hazare with Nitish Kumar attack UPA

Patna, Jun 30: Ahead of the all party meeting on the much discussed Lokpal draft, Gandhian crusader Anna Hazare on Thursday, Jun 30 met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

After their meeting, both Hazare and the CM hurled their fresh criticism on the UPA government over its (UPA's) handling of the Lokpal fuss.

Nitish Kumar, stating about the government's letter to all CMs of the nation, informed that Bihar government will deliver their (Bihar government's) opinion on the Lokpal draft if UPA clarifies their stand on the issue.

The joint panel to draft the anti-corruption Lokpal bill have been engaged in a fuss when debate over the PM's inclusion under its (Lokpal's) ambit has been left undecided.

While the civil society members led by Hazare wanted to bring the PM under Lokpal's ambit, government representatives opposed the demand.

Failing to reach to any consensus, the government called an all party meeting on Jul 3. Now, Hazare's special meeting with Nitish Kumar hinted the intention of opposition parties, especially BJP.
