Blacklisted Hollywood actress deported from Burma

Yeoh, who is playing Aung San Suu Kyi, pro-democracy leader in her upcoming flick reached Rangoon on Jun 22 but was sent back the same day, said a government official.
"She did not have the chance to enter Myanmar again. She was deported straight away on the first flight after arriving at Yangon International Airport," said an official.
"She's on the blacklist now," another official said without giving the reason on why she was blacklisted.
Michelle Yeoh had met Nobel price winner Suu Kyi in Dec at her home in Yangon after she shot scenes in Thailand with french director, Luc Besson for the movie which is expected to be released this year.
Aung San Suu Kyi's party, National League for Democracy had won the elections in Burma in 1990. She was put under house arrest for 15 of the next 20 years and later released in Nov 2010. Calling the rules unfair, she boycotted the 2010 elections.
