Protest march in UP: Congress leader trapped in Maya-jaal

The detained Congress leader earlier had vowed to break Section 144 which was imposed by the Mayawati government to root out Congress' agitation.
It can be recalled that Congress, demanding CBI probe in Sachan's "murder" case and citing other intensifying crime reports in the state, began their protest march - "Nyaya Yatra". However, the BSP government rejected to start CBI investigation in the deputy CMO death case.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr Yogendra Singh Sachan on Jun 22 reportedly committed suicide and that too under the nose of the security personnel of Lucknow jail. Sachan was the prime accused of the murder of Family Welfare CMO, Dr BP Singh.
