Congress policies increased inflation, poverty: Mayawati

Mayawati alleged that wrong policies of the Congress governments over 50 years have led to poverty, unemployment and inflation in the country.
UP CM accused that government has not taken any action to increase the number of BPL families, which was recommended by a government committee. She also added that poverty has not been eradicated from the country despite schemes implemented by the Central Government.
Mayawati, who blamed Congress government of playing politics over the death of deputy Chief Medical Officer YS Sachan, said that country witnessed several corruption during Congress' rule.
The UP government has decided to implement a scheme, under which, woman head of poor family gets Rs 400 per month, she said.
Mayawati attacked Congress and previous BJP-led NDA government for not acting against black money. She said that both Congress and BJP governments failed to bring a legislation against black money. She added that all political parties have involvement in black money and that is the reason for inaction against it.
