Kalam to visit museum at his house in Rameswaram

Rameswaram (TN), June 26: Former president A P J Abdul Kalam would visit on Monday, Jun 27 his hereditary house here where a museum showcasing his achievements in various fields, including missle technology, has been set up, officials said.

The museum has been set up by the central government in the first floor of his house at the Muslim Street in the temple town, where he was born in 1931, they said.

Documents regarding Kalam's achievements in the field of missile technology, accolades won by him as President, his books are among the exhibits on display in the muesum for the benefit of general public, students and tourists. The work on the museum was completed recently, officials said.
