Baba Ramdev meets injured supporter

New Delhi, Jun 26: Baba Ramdev finally met Rajbala Malik, a supporter who was lathi charged by the police at the Ramlila Maidan, Delhi where Baba Ramdev was holding a hunger strike.

Ramdev was thrown out of Delhi during his protest against corruption and black money at Ramlila maidan.

50-year-old Rajbala is undergoing treatment at the GB Pant Hospital was said to be in 'critical condition'.

Rajbala was one of the seriously injured in the police lathi-charge that took place on Sunday, Jun 6 and left many of Ramdev supporters injured. She was admitted to the ICU.

The victim underwent a cervical joint replacement surgery on Sunday, Jun 6. It was on her insistence that she went to support Baba Ramdev's cause despite her family asking her to leave the venue at midnight. She was injured after police stormed into the venue and lathi-charged people.

Soon after police's crack down at Delhi, Baba Ramdev started indefinite hunger strike at his ashram in Haridwar. But after nine days, the Uttarakhand government authorities forcibly moved Ramdev to hospital after his health was deteriorating to an alarming situation.

Baba Ramdev ended his fast after spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar met him in the hospital. Ramdev broke fast by sipping fruit juice in the presence of various religious and spiritual leaders.
