Samajwadi Party demands Governor rule in Uttar Pradesh

Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders on Saturday, Jun 25 met Uttar Pradesh Governor and demanded to dismiss the government over the lawlessness situation in the state. SP leaders alleged that ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaders were involved in the murder of deputy Chief Medical Officer (CMO) YS Sachan.
SP leader Akhilesh Yadav slammed Mayawati for the poor law and order situation in the state. He accused UP government of using police to terrorise YS Sachan's family.
Meanwhile, opposition parties and YS Sachan's family stood firm on their demand for a CBI enquiry on YS Sachan's mysterious death. YS Sachan, the prime accused in murder of two chief medical officers, was found dead in a unused toilet in jail.
YS Sachan's brother Dr RK Sachan said that his brother won't commit suicide and officials made him a 'scapegoat'. RK Sachan also claimed the authorities have changed their statement several times.
