2G: A Raja's wife and brother questioned by I-T officials

Trichy, Jun 24: I-T officials questioned wife of 2G accused A Raja, ex telecom minister and her brother in the 2G money trail.

Raja was arrested on Feb 2 for his tainted role in 2G spectrum scam. Along with Raja, two of his aides-former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura and RK Chandolia were also arrested.

Charged with criminal misconduct, policy violation and favouring specific telecom companies, Raja is currently lodged in Tihar jail on charges of corruption.

The other high profile ministers who are lodged in Tihar jail include DMK, MP and the daughter of Karunanidhi, Kanimozhi, Kalaignar TV MD, Sharad Kumar, Shahid Balwa MD of DB realty, Cineyug Director Karim Morani, all accused for their alleged role in the country's biggest corruption 2G spectrum scandal.

Suresh Kalmadi is one other high profile minister who is lodged in Tihar jail for his involvement in the commonwealth games scam.
