UP Poll 2012: Uma Bharti targets Maya&Crime not Ram&Hindutva

Citing the increasing number of rape and crime cases, Uma Bharti accused Mayawati of mishandling the law and order situation in the state. Uma blamed Mayawati of shielding the corrupt people in the state.
Recent media reports show how Uttar Pradesh has become a hub of crime. Eight rape cases have been reported withing 72 hours on Tuesday, Jun 21.
Mayawati, however, defended herself and her government by claiming, "Criminals won't be shielded. We will bring them to book."
Earlier, Uma Bharti, stating BJP's main agenda during assembly polls, had declared that Hindutva would be the cornerstone of her campaign in Uttar Pradesh for the 2012 Assembly elections. Uma Bharti gave a clarion call to the party workers and said, "Jo Ram ka hoga, wahi kaam ka hoga."
Citing the hot issue in the region, Uma Bhari has taken complete advantage of the current situation as they say - make hay while the Sun shines.
